TJ's Unique Boutique has been in operation for 50 years. In 2025, April Moore took over as the new proprietor. She is honored to be able to continue the TJ's legacy within the community.

TJ's was originally opened in 1975 on Madeira Beach, by Tjiska (last name unknown). The store was purchased from Tjiska by Nimi and Andy. After the 1975 Hurricane, they moved the from St. John's pass. After a few years, Nimi and Andy passed the store to Nancy. Nancy then gave the store to  her daughter, Jancy. Erin Koogle purchased the store in 2002 and ran the business for 23 years before retiring. She is responsible for making TJ's into the staple of the community that it has become.
